Summary:
This is a thriving department staffed with dedicated professionals who work hard at giving every pupil the best opportunity to succeed.
The department is based mainly in 'East Block', having one discrete room and two further rooms. The department is well resourced with artifacts, videos and very good ICT facilities (several computers, one with intranet/internet connection and scanner).

  It's all about:-
The community that students and many different young people around the world belong to and about what it feels like to belong to a community.
The stories that are told and written down, by communities and individuals, about the mystery of life.
The kind of people we are and the kind of person you want to become.
The people who are part of our lives.
The people who are leaders of religions.
How people communicate with each other and how people in the main religious traditions communicate with and respond to the mystery at the centre of their lives, through prayer and worship.
How people celebrate special occasions and experiences in life and the important part that celebrations and festivals play in religions.
What people value most in their lives and, especially, about the values which arise out of religious beliefs.

All pupils following the ASDAN 'Youth Award' do two RE modules (1/4 award) counting to their Bronze and Silver Awards.
