Mrs. CookI joined Willowgarth in September of 1992. I am a member of the L.E.A. support service. My role in school is to assist pupils who may need help during lessons or with homework. In and around school my colleagues and myself are known as C.S.A's. This stands for Curriculum Support Assistants. Our aim is to help and give support to pupils who may have difficulty in any of the curriculum areas. We are there to offer friendly advice and take the stress away from pupils who worry about school-work. C.S.A's can be found in classrooms giving assistance to pupils who require it and also can be found in an area called The Link where we work on a one to one basis helping pupils improve in their general language work and increase in confidence to cope more on their own.
I joined the school in 1991 from the then British Coal Corporation after 30 years as a senior office manager.
