What are we?

A Learning Centre Network project, based at the Acorn Centre as part of the NSPCC Schools Service, offering a wide range of Study Support Activities for young people aged 8-16 years who live or attend schools in Cudworth, Shafton, Grimethorpe and Brierley.
Who are the workers?

And a team of Befrienders, year 10 pupils, - recognised by their Red Polo Shirts or Sweatshirts

The Befrienders have an important role in Willowgarth in helping new year 7 pupils to settle in each year and find their way around school. They are available to support pupils in finding the help they need to enjoy a positive school experience.
Where can you find us?

►Willowgarth Befriender Project - Monday and Thursday, break and lunchtime

►Willowgarth High School - Library - Wednesday lunch time

►Grimethorpe Library - Monday and Thursday from 3.30pm - 5.00pm

►Cudworth Homework Spot - Tuesday from 4.00pm - 6.00pm

►NSPCC IT Room and Activity Room - Term time activities as advertised and during school holiday times

►In Primary schools in the area supporting years 5 and 6.
