Philosophy of Approach
"Teach me Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge" (Psalm 118).
Our pupils need, and deserve, a caring and ordered environment. Though we tend to meet them in groups, we must never forget that each child is an individual and, as far as possible, deserves to be treated as such. Parents - who are our allies if we are to succeed - have little experience of their children as other than individuals. To communicate effectively with parents and to enlist their aid should problems arise, thus requires us at least to begin from the individual perspective.
We try to provide pupils with personal attention whenever possible. In this way individuals and their learning problems are identified and dealt with. Continuous whole class teaching does not allow this to happen. Your child is an individual, a special individual, with individual learning needs. Our teaching involves whole class, group and individual approaches.
