After School Activites

After School Club/W.A.S.P.
The club is open 3pm until 5.30pm Mon day to Thursday and 3pm to 5pm on Fridays.
The After School Club has just been give a new identity. From now on after school club will be known as W.A.S.P., which stands for Willowgarth After School Posse.

The name was chosen from a number of suggestions that were entered into a naming competition that all after school members could enter. The renaming was suggested after the Club successfully achieved accreditation from a National Governing Body called 4Children. The accreditation shows that the club reaches criteria in regards to facilities and activities that is beyond the National standard expected of out of hours childcare.

The After School Club offers pupils the opportunity to come to a safe and friendly environment after school where they can join in with various activities and make new friends.

We do all kinds of engaging activities to keep our members entertained, including arts & crafts, computers, film nights, games, homework help and regular competitions.

Whenever possible, we also take the club outside to our little garden or onto the field to play sports games such as non-stop cricket. Back to top
