2 Mar 2006 - Design Technology Achievements

In October 2005 Willowgarth sent a number of entries into the "Design a Helmet for Chris Walker" competition announced in the newspaper "Motorcycle News". The prize was to have the helmet professionally made. Although Willowgarth did not win this the judges were impressed with the standard and number of entries so decided to award some prizes from Alai Helmets.

The winner of these was Deren Francis, a Year 8 pupil. She has picked up signed motorcycle gear from Chris Walker (World Superbike Star) - this comprised signed visor, signed baseball hat, signed poster, Alai T-Shirt, and a soft helmet case.
