Friends of Willowgarth

Friends of Willowgarth
Willowgarth has a strong association which consists of representatives from the governing body, parents, friends of the school and staff.

The purpose of the association is to encourage closer liaison between the school and the wider community, to engage in activities which support the school and promote the welfare of its pupils, and also to assist in the provision of facilities in the school.

All parents and guardians as well as anyone who has an interest in the school are welcome to join the association.

In the past the association has organised a number of social events which have included a car treasure hunt, a ceilidh, a 60's evening, a fashion show, a karaoke evening, as well as an information evening for parents of Year 7 pupils.

Offers of help in any way are always gratefully received.

Full details of any activities, including the annual general meeting, will be given in letters brought home by your child.

We hope that this gives you some indication of the work of the association and we hope that the parents of the prospective pupils will give support in as many ways as they can. Please contact Tony Parkinson (Community Liaison Officer) at the school who will give any further information which you may require.
