Reporting to Parents
General
The reports will be generated and collated using the school intranet. Teachers can log on and report on their students whenever they wish. When the report deadline approaches, they will be printed and sent to parents. We will follow DfES guidelines on the length and content of the reports. Pupil photographs will also be printed on the reports. Back to topYear 11 Record of Achievement
In accordance with national and local developments, Year 11 pupils leave Willowgarth High School with a complete record of their achievements.Though the record is complemented by any certificates awarded by the external examination bodies, its overriding intention is to give a fuller, more rounded picture of the pupil than can be achieved simply by listing examination successes.
It contains documents/statements which present full evidence to others of pupils' self-reliance, flexibility and broad competences.
Work experience, community experience, personal and social development, contributions to the extra-curricular life of the school and representative experience are all given prominence.
Consultation between the pupil and appropriate tutors ensures that the Record of Achievement is both complete, accurate and fair.
THE RECORD OF ACHIEVEMENT IS A CRUCIAL DOCUMENT FOR YEAR 11 PUPILS ATTENDING INTERVIEWS FOR WORK OR FURTHER EDUCATION. Employers have told us how much they appreciate its use during interviews. Back to top
